Set Design - Outbreak - Kenneth A. Larson
Boss Film Corp. did Visual Effects, including CGI, for this film. The ship was made using CGI to resemble a model on display at the Long Beach Harbor Master's office, but with changes. Some of the ship was digitally scanned in 3D by Viewpoint using an extra hull and drawings provided by the original model maker. Other details were created by ViewPoint from my details. Below are a few sheets of details. They were kept simple and on these small sheets for the ease of the computer modelers. Also I was told to use minimum dimensions.Note: These drawings are presented here for portfolio purposes only. These drawings are not available for sale or to be given away in hard copy or digitally in any scale. I will be happy to show hard-copy during a legitimate job interview for Set Designer.
I did this as a demo in the days before starting, to show the possibility of doing more of the Set Design work in 3D. It was determined that 2D was sufficient.
